Joyce Tapley is the owner of JE Tapley Consulting Group, LLC, which is a company focused on assisting physician offices and healthcare entities in establishing and maintaining compliance with HIPAA laws. Her company prepares healthcare providers to pass site visits, and her team conducts forensic healthcare audits to reduce and eliminate legal issues.

Over the past 30 years, she has served as an Assistant Hospital Administrator at a major teaching hospital in Los Angeles, a Financial Operations Director at a teaching hospital clinical laboratory in San Francisco, California, Chief Operations Officer of a multi-specialty group practice and is currently the CEO of two community health centers in Dallas, Texas.

 

She has assisted many individuals in obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees in healthcare, securing school loan repayment options, and creating training sites for those interested in completing clinical and administrative school requirements. Joyce earned a BA in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Washington School of Public Health. In addition to her degrees, she holds 4 certifications in corporate compliance and forensic healthcare auditing.

As an individual who lives with three chronic health conditions, Joyce is committed to spreading the word about the importance of preventative and primary care.
