Robert W. Rodgers, Sr. is the Chief Information Security Manager in the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. He is responsible for Information Security & Technology Strategy, Protection of Data, Computing Devices, and the entire Networking Infrastructure for the Public Defender Law Firm. With a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science Mathematics and holding other certifications in Security, Networking, and Servers, he finds this work very rewarding and challenging.

 

Robert has over 30 years of Information Technology (IT) experience in these county departments. Internal Services (ISD), Department of Health Services (DHS), Register of Voters (ROV), Public Library, and currently the Public Defender Office. He has been very instrumental in securing the Los Angeles County, and accomplishing other IT related solutions. Robert is a member of MS-ISAC, and ISSA. Prior to working for the County of Los Angeles Robert did an Internship with NASA writing programs to test stress level on human organs in space.

 

Outside of the office Robert owns and operates the Wings of Technology Company, which is a full-service technology company that performs Information Security, Pen Testing, Technology Risk Vision, strategy in key areas of Governance, Policy, Cyber Security Awareness Training, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery. Wings of Technology continues to perform installation of networks as it did from inception.
